Job Summary

WordPress developers create and build websites for businesses using the WordPress creator tool. They are accountable for both back-end and front-end development, which includes the installation of plugins and themes. They aim to design appealing and user-friendly websites as per the clients’ requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meeting with customers to discuss design and functionality.

• The design and development of the front-end of the website.

• Website’s architecture creation.

• The design and management of the website back-end, including integration with the server and database.

• Making WordPress themes as well as plugins.

• Conducting performance tests for websites.

• Troubleshooting issues with content.

• Conducting WordPress training for the client.

• The monitoring of performance on the website in its live state.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s level degree or competitive skills in this field.

• Experience with front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and JQuery.

• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, and SVN.

• Experience using debugging tools like Chrome Inspector as well as Firebug.

• A good understanding of the architecture of websites and design.

• Capability for managing tasks.

• Good communication skills.
